What are Hot-Melt Adhesive (HMA) Materials?

HMA material is a solvent-free thermoplastic adhesive that is solid at room temperature. It’s heated to a molten state for application and quickly solidifies on cooling to form a high-strength bond. Key advantages:

Can the cure speed keep up with automated lines?

Yes. Our fast-cure HMAs reach ≤ 5 s (some as low as 3 s), perfectly matching high-speed automation and significantly boosting throughput—proven in packaging/printing and consumer-electronics mass production.

Is bond strength stable across plastics and metals?

Absolutely. Modified formulations deliver excellent adhesion to plastics, metals, paper, and textiles. High-strength grades achieve ≥ 5 N/mm with stable performance in ambient and thermal cycling. Substrate-specific testing is available.

Can you customize viscosity/hardness? Is prototyping free?

Yes. Viscosity, hardness, and cure speed are fully customizable to your process. Prototyping is free within 1–3 days, with 1:1 engineering guidance for material selection.

Are the products environmentally compliant? Suitable for medical/food contact?

Yes. All HMAs are solvent-free, low-odor, RoHS/REACH compliant. Medical-grade HMAs meet ISO 13485 (biocompatible, non-toxic). Food-contact HMAs conform to FDA requirements. Full test reports can be provided.
